The Watseka/Iroquois County TEA Party group was invited to the LaSalle-Peru TEA Party meeting in LaSalle, Illinois. Christine Arndt hosted area TEA Party organizers with a meet and greet with Senator Bill Brady. Pete and Barb Offill attended this meeting on July 13th, 2010 at 4:30 p.m. We met at Uptown Grill Restaraunt in Oglesby, IL. After meeting Senator Brady and a brief question and answer session, we attended the Bureau -LaSalle TEA Party meeting at Illinois Valley Community College. Senator Brady met with the media and gave a brief speech along with a question and answer session at the college. The evening ended with cake for Chris Arndt's surprise birthday celebration. It was a pleasure meeting with Senator Brady and the Watseka TEA Party group hopes that the senator will join us at our September rally. I was told by his campaign manager that Mr. Brady will try for 9/11 as requested, but if not, close to that date. Lets keep our fingers crossed for the 11th of September in rememberance of 9-11.
